This release introduces a major expansion of the RARE Portal’s analytical capabilities, centered on the delivery of a formal Diagnostic Performance Reporting suite.
It enables users to move beyond simple data viewing into audit-ready performance analysis, providing end-to-end traceability from raw results to statistical reports. The release also introduces significant usability enhancements for data management, including enriched entity tooltips and streamlined dataset creation workflows.

Integrated Diagnostic Performance Reporting

Performance Reports Management Hub: A new central management page that acts as the entry point for all diagnostic analysis. Users can view a summary list of previously generated reports, including creation timestamps, associated datasets, and the specific configurations used.

Guided Report Creation Workflow: A structured, step-by-step process for generating new reports. Users can select one or more datasets and apply specific configurations (ground truth, batch calibration, and interpretation rules) to derive analytical and diagnostic metrics.

Audit-Ready Document Exports: Support for exporting complete performance reports into multiple formats for offline use and regulatory audits.

PDF: Full formatted reports including metadata, summary tables, and performance plots.

Report Provenance & Traceability: Every report automatically captures a "snapshot" of its inputs, including dataset identifiers, software versions, and configuration states, ensuring that results can be reproduced and compared reliably over time.
Enriched Entity Tooltips for List Tables

Hover-to-Reveal Details: To improve navigation speed, hovering over ID columns (such as User ID, Organisation ID, Batch ID, or Housing ID) now displays a summary tooltip.

Quick Actions: Tooltips include a "copy-to-clipboard" control for the ID and a deep link to navigate directly to that entity’s detail page.

Lazy-Loading Performance: Tooltip content is fetched only when needed and cached for the session to ensure the portal remains responsive even when viewing large data tables.
Improvements to Existing Features
Advanced Dataset & Ground Truth Management

One-Click Dataset Creation: New entry points allow users to build datasets instantly from the Results list or directly from the output of Interpreter Reprocessing runs.

Tabbed Dataset Editor: The dataset creation and edit screens now feature a dual-tabbed view:

All Results: For searching and adding/removing eligible results.

Dataset Results: For reviewing the current membership of the dataset.

Ground Truth Coverage Panel: When viewing a dataset, a new coverage panel provides real-time progress bars indicating the level of ground truth completeness for each test line, helping users ensure their datasets are ready for performance reporting.

Direct Navigation to Management: A new "Manage Ground Truths" action on the dataset detail page navigates users to a pre-filtered view of the Ground Truths page, automatically scoped to the results within that specific dataset.
Risk-Aware Feature Gating

Privacy-First Exports: Export logic has been reviewed to ensure that generated reports contain only aggregate statistical metrics and internal identifiers, preventing the unintended exposure of sensitive personal or patient data.

Usability Risk Mitigations: Added inline help and tooltips to clarify the semantics of "completeness" and "coverage" metrics, reducing the risk of biased interpretation during development analysis.

Multi-Database Support: Expanded Interpreter and Method reprocessing capabilities to support datasets containing results from multiple databases.

UI & Configuration Persistence: Fixed an issue where the selected Reference Batch was not persisted when reloading a report configuration.

Known Issues & Limitations

Dashboard Metadata: The Method ID is currently not displayed in the "Latest Result" section of the Data Collection dashboard.

PDF Rendering Constraints: While PDF exports capture UI content accurately, very complex CSS layouts or cross-origin images may occasionally result in minor rendering differences compared to the browser view.
