Summary

This is the first official release of the RARE Portal, providing a secure, web-based platform for managing users, organisations, methods, and results for lateral flow assay workflows. Version 1.0.0 delivers the foundational features for user management, assay configuration, and data traceability, supporting scientists and QC users in regulated environments.

New Features

User, Organisation, and Subscription Management

  • Self-signup for new organisations, including admin and app user creation.

  • Role-based access control for Admin, Org Admin, and Standard users.

  • Organisation management: create, view, and edit organisations, assign unique IDs, and manage user roles.

  • Subscription management with support for payment tiers and integration with Stripe for invoicing.

Authentication and Security

  • Login, forgot password, and reset password flows.

  • Email verification and notifications for account actions.

  • All API communications secured over HTTPS.

Assay and Reader Configuration

  • Create and manage Housing and Method models, including uploading images, point models, and classifiers.

  • Configure reader parameters, data collection modes, and control correction.

  • Save and version Housing and Method configurations.

Result Management and Data Analysis

  • Result detail pages with image carousel, profile charts, and traceable configuration.

  • Bulk export of results to Excel.

  • Data filtering, advanced search, and quick filters for all tables.

  • Safety checks to ensure dataset consistency before reprocessing.

UI and Usability

  • Sidebar navigation with role-based visibility.

  • Dashboard with account usage, test insights, and result source breakdown.

  • Branding and design aligned with Novarum guidelines.

Improvements to Existing Features

Not applicable for this release. All features are new in version 1.0.0.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed issues with user signup and organisation assignment.

  • Resolved UI scaling and display issues in Housing and Method views.

  • Addressed token refresh and session management for secure login.

  • Corrected missing fields in user and organisation management.

Known Issues & Limitations

  • Payment tier and subscription management may require backend updates for new plans.
